The purpose of this work is the expansion of the wind park of Großengersdorf. In order to examine possible influences on the quality of life of the residents, comprehensive real-usage mapping of the building and open-space structures as well as the road and road network were carried out. Main focus lies on the survey, description and interpretation of these structures. Problems of modern technology are considered in this thesis as an excursus based on the example of Großengersdorf. The monitoring of impacts and effects of the wind energy plants is carried out through the derivation of the planning concepts and their values, which is followed by a critical reflection on the development perspectives in the community. Subsequently the planning framework as a contribution to the local development concept is derived, examined and the values re-determined if necessary.
